TNY has taken delivery of BAVARIA CRUISER 36 and a BAVARIA CRUISER 40. These new designs from Bruce Farr and BMW Design Works, look fantastic and sail even better. Bavaria builds there boats to exacting specifications in the worlds most advanced boat factory.

The CRUISER 40 exudes an air of comfort and warmth. Numerous flush-mounted windows and hatches in the hull and deck provide plenty of ambient light. At night the ceiling lights create a cozy atmosphere. An impressive amount of space creates uniquely comfortable living conditions.

Like all new BAVARIA yachts, the CRUISER 36 has outstanding sailing properties in all kinds of weather. Tacking angles of  around 82° are typical. The new sail plan and the carefully designed layout of the deck make for easy, minimum-strength handling.

With a choice of six models ranging from 32 feet to 55 feet, you can customize your boat from the numerous interior layout and design options. The result is a modern yacht line that combines quality, safety, comfort and perfect handling.

True North Yachts has added another brand to its portfolio. Tartan C&C bring a completely different style of boat to TNY existing models.

In the last 50 years Tartan has created one of the most admired and finely constructed yachts available to the sailing public. C&C Yachts

C&C is a performance yacht. The sail area to displacment numbers lean to the fast end of the spectrum. While the interiors are not spartan, they definitely are toward the functional end of the genre. These are fast and also comfortable racers. The racing results from around North America prove the Bill Lee adage that “fast is fun”.

Check out the new 101. Click on the picture for the whole scoop. She carries her beam well aft for stability and speed. The wide aft section also creates more cockpit space for the crew. The interior is designed for a full crew to inhabit, while keeping the woodwork to a minimum but still keeping some wood for a warm feeling while surfing the Lake Ontario swells.

True North Yachts is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Goodyear as the newest member to our prolific sales team. Mark has worked in the marine industry for more than a decade in a variety of roles and as a result has an impressive range of knowledge that stretches well beyond sales. In addition to his proven sales experience, Mark is factory trained for the maintenance and repair of a variety of lines including Hunter Marine and has both NMEA and Raymarine certification.

Mark also has an impressive career as a competitive sailor having been a two -time North American Champion and having won the bronze medal for Canada at the 2007 Pan American Games in Brazil.

His impressive experience and marine industry knowledge make Mark a true asset to the True North Yachts team and we are pleased to welcome him on-board.

The Bavaria Cruiser 45 has been named Best Monohull Under 50′ for 2012! The Bavaria beat out the other nominees in its category and was the only production monohull that was named a winner.

Most of all, we like the way this boat sails. Thanks to the twin rudders, which are canted well outboard, and the efficient Farr-designed hull, this is one broad-beamed mass-production cruising monohull that will power up and heel over without griping when pressed hard to windward.
